Dustin Taylor Named 2025 World Automobile Auctioneer Champion

PHOENIX – Dustin Taylor of Horton, Alabama, has been named the 2025 World Automobile Auctioneer Champion. Taylor was crowned champion at the 2025 World Automobile Auctioneer Championship (WAAC), held April 25th at Manheim Phoenix in Tolleson, Arizona.

The event drew nearly 70 competitors from across the country. Every year, the prestigious competition highlights the importance of the auctioneer profession and provides an opportunity to celebrate the very best of automobile auctioneering.

Ryan Reed of Afton, Oklahoma was the winner of the Ringman Competition, and Tommy Bellamy and Tucker Treadway from Tennessee were the winners of the Team Competition.

"The energy in the lanes last week was amazing, and I am incredibly proud of my team and their dedication to pulling off a successful event,” said Gus Jones, General Manager of the Manheim Arizona Market Center. “I would like to thank the committed auctioneers and ringmen who took time out of their busy schedules to compete. I also appreciate all our judges, sponsors, lane directors, and the entire team at Manheim Phoenix and NAAA for their hard work to make this event a success.”

NAAA thanks all the WAAC competitors, judges, sponsors, lane directors, the WAAC committee, volunteers, and attendees for their dedication and contributions to the 2025 WAAC. Details about the 2026 WAAC competition will be released in the near future.
